Renewable energy deployment
Durpeta’s total annual electricity consumption is around 1.2 GWh/year.
In order to optimise production costs and reduce the negative impact of production processes on the environment, and on the basis of the findings of an energy consumption audit report, UAB Durpeta is initiating a project to install renewable energy production capacity.
The project will install a 399.74 kW solar power plant in Šepeta.
Funding is provided under the progress measure “Encourage enterprises to move towards a climate-neutral economy” of the activity “Promote the deployment of renewable energy sources in industrial enterprises” of the Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme, managed by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, for the 2022-2030 period.
The total project amount is EUR 323,558.
Funding from the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Lithuania is EUR 139,765.
The applicant’s contribution is EUR 183,793.
The project implementation period is from 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2025.
