PEAT SUBSTRATE FOR BLUEBERRIES

It is a substrat mixture based on acidic, rich in humus and light peat from high-marsh – which is a per­fect wetting agent.

Usage: Prepare a hole of 50 x 70 m measurements, spread a lay of 1 cm gravel for drainage and than aerate the peat. Moisten additionally for few times, mix thoroughly to get all layers sicken with water. Cover additionally the planted blueberry with pine rind and needles, fertilize with ammonium sulfate before and after the blooming (20–30 g per plant). In autumn fertilize with potassium sulfate (10–20 g per plant) and with superphosphate (25–30 g per plant).
